How we choose partners
Reclaim is free. Some links may earn us a commission. Here is how that works, and the rules we never break.
Our rules
- Free actions always come first. A partner is never a required step.
- We only show an option if its published rules accept your real profile: taxpayer ID, residence and entity. If an option requires an SSN and you don't have one, you won't see it.
- When a rule is not published, the option is marked "possible: check first", never "likely".
- Options are ordered by how well they fit your profile, then by name. Commissions never change the order.
- Every partner link says whether it is an affiliate link.
- We never recommend a way around a verification.
What happens when you click
The link goes through our server first. We record the partner, the page, how you reached us and, if you saved a case, its identifier. We do not send your answers or your email to the partner.
